1. Guitar Body
The body of any guitar made with CNC machining is often the largest CNC-milled component. With CNC machines, you can shape contours, carve out cavities, and make rounded edges on your guitar, and it’d have perfect symmetry. That way, you are sure that your self-made guitar body has a consistent tone and aesthetic.
2. Neck
With a CNC machine, you can shape the guitar neck profile. You can also add the headstock angle and heel fitting to the guitar neck profile. CNC processes and software, since they ensure material consistency, will ensure the neck profile is consistent in pattern. That way, you increase the playability and strength in both bolt-on and set neck styles.
3. Fretboard
With CNC machines, you can precisely slot the space for your fretboard and also radius the surface with ease. The advantage of using CNC for this process is that you get a better intonation and comfort, especially when making unique or multiscale fretboard designs.
4. Headstock
CNC machines can cut unique headstock shapes, tuner holes, and logo recesses with 100% precision too. With unique headstocks that are different from known guitar brands, you can customize a guitar brand yourself and ensure functional consistency of your guitar.
